Put in on Mute....

We live fashion. We breathe it. Dress it. Shape it. Admire it. Love it. So when we see things on the runways or show rooms that tickle our fancy, we either figure out how to cop it or how to re-create it. When my computer stops acting Le Janky.....I will post some re-creates from Lanvin's Fall 2010.

Trust me when I tell you, you can re-create these looks anyway you want. Lanvin's motivation this season is muted and metallic. That's easy, for real! Check Asos (hit me up for a coupon code), Urban, and please don't turn your nose up at getting Thrifty.
Structured is IN! One-Shoulder is IN! Mini skirts/dresses with egdy footwear is IN! Thee possibilities are endless!
I got a designer, vintage coat EXACTLY like the one below from a thrift store in Chicago for $15. Me no lie!

Don't stray from your creativity. Designers not only provide the clothing, but they provide in the motivation and inspiration for people to express their mind processes and imaginative fantasies.

I don't ask for much. All I want is for YOU to Be inspired!

p.s. I'll post some re-creates after this Labor Day weekend. I'll be traveling....don't know where I'm going yet, but I'll be gone!

Patience, My Children......

I've been trying to upload pictures from our NYC extravaganza.......to no avail. Clearly.
My internet has been acting.....how can I say this?

BUT I promise you, my children, I will feed your young, absorbent minds very soon.
Mama does not disappoint.

Post will be entitled: Manhattan Memoirs.

While you're waiting.....I'll do some style posts. I haven't done any of those in a while.

Be inspired.

Kanye West

I know you guys anticipated this at some point...well, here it is! In any case, I will imply from his music to his fashion sense, his boldness has and continues to play a significant influence; for that we are appreciative. Behind the flashy extra media approaches that many see on a day-to-day...you have to admit Kanye's significant impact to ART. This is why we are implementing him within our next playlist...Enjoy. ;-)

Take 1.

There are not many people on EARTH that are not aware of the tiny, amazing woman. I had the pleasure of meeting her a while back and she really is tiny and amazing. I told her I wanted to put her in my pocket.

Now....to this video. Just released. The only word I think of after I wipe the tears from my eyes is depth. The quality of being deep; deepness; gravity; seriousness; intensity, of silence, color, etc.

We've been kinda busy at UA lately. Photoshoots galore. Meetings. Concerts. Rooftop parties. Life.

I think a vacay is in order. Let's go to NYC.

Coolio. 19th-23rd.

Really want to give you all previews of some of the pieces I'll be wearing in NY. I must plan these out because I plan on going the opposite of soft. BUT.....I think my camera was lost in a drunken stupor. No worries. I've got access.

Posts coming soon.

Let me know what you think I should take.
